As a SPED Paraprofessional Middle School, you will play a crucial role in the success of our special education program. You will work closely with teachers and therapists to support students with disabilities in their academic and social development. Your patience, empathy, and dedication will make a difference in the lives of our students, helping them reach their full potential.

Responsibilities of the SPED Paraprofessional Middle School include:

• Assisting students with special needs in the classroom, providing one-on-one support as needed.
• Implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior plans under the guidance of the special education teacher.
• Supporting students with activities of daily living, such as eating, dressing, and toileting.
• Supervising students during lunch, recess, and other non-instructional times.
• Collaborating with school staff and parents to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

The ideal candidate for this position will have a passion for working with students with special needs and a strong desire to help them succeed. Previous experience in a school setting or working with individuals with disabilities is preferred. Candidates should possess excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
