Job Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized instruction to students with diverse learning needs in a supportive and inclusive environment.
- Develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's unique strengths and challenges.
- Collaborate with a team of educators, parents, and support staff to ensure the academic and social success of every student.
- Implement research-based strategies and interventions to help students achieve their educational goals.
- Create a positive and nurturing classroom community where all students feel valued and accepted.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field.
- State certification in Special Education.
- Experience working with middle school students with disabilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion in education.
