Position Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and contributing to the overall financial health of the organization. This position requires strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of accounting principles.
Working Hours: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm is typical; May require weekend or evening work at times.
Compensation: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
Supervisory Responsibilities: This position does not have any direct reports or supervisory responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports.
- Conduct cash flow analysis and forecasts to support financial planning.
- Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processes, ensuring timely payments and accurate record-keeping.
- Assist in budgeting processes and monitor budget variances.
- Support corporate finance initiatives through detailed financial analysis.
- Write comprehensive financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Maintain organized records of all financial transactions and documentation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in an accounting or finance role required.
- Deep understanding and experience in using QuickBooks, preferably with small to medium-sized companies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel including using formulas, VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc.
- Strong understanding of cash flow analysis, budgeting, and corporate finance principles.
- Experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll management is preferred.
- Ability to manage, organize and execute the financial work for multiple entities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective financial report writing.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy in all tasks.
- Previous experience in financial statement preparation is a plus.
