Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly organized and communicative Project Manager to lead cross-departmental projects, ensuring clear communication, strong stakeholder engagement, and on-time delivery. This role focuses on scoping, task management, and stakeholder coordination — with an emphasis on positive communication, active listening, and customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Management & Planning:

  • Lead project scoping sessions, gather requirements, and develop clear project plans
  • Break down projects into manageable tasks, maintaining sprints, deadlines, and a cohesive project roadmap
  • Prioritize and manage tasks to ensure timely delivery across multiple departments

Stakeholder Engagement & Communication:

  • Serve as the main point of contact between technical teams and business stakeholders
  • Practice active listening and clear communication to align project goals with stakeholder expectations
  • Maintain a positive, customer-service mindset when engaging with internal teams
  • Facilitate meetings that focus on collaboration, solution-finding, and project clarity

Task & Process Management:

  • Track project progress using project management tools
  • Document scope changes, key decisions, and lessons learned for continuous improvement
  • Proactively identify roadblocks and offer solutions to maintain momentum

Process Improvement & Documentation:

  • Continuously refine project management processes to improve efficiency and transparency
  • Ensure thorough documentation for all projects, including changes in scope, priorities, and responsibilities

Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of project management experience (IT or software development projects preferred)
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a focus on active listening and stakeholder management
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and translating technical requirements into actionable plans
  • Proficiency in project management tools
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing project scopes

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • Familiarity with DevOps workflows and processes
  • Experience with Power BI or similar data visualization tools (though data analytics is handled by another team)
  • Exposure to transportation or financial services industries
  • Agile, Scrum, or Kanban certifications (e.g., CAPM, PMP) are a plus
