Great Place Construction is a private construction firm that specializes in commercial construction. We are seeking a Traveling Project Superintendent to join our team to facilitate, coordinate and manage project operations as the leader of the on-site management team. DUTIES: - Evaluate construction plans for completeness and constructability.
- Review and understand contract documents.
- Coordinate with design consultants to resolve discrepancies in plans and specifications.
- Develop and maintain interval schedules.
- Maintain site logistics.
- Collaborate/coordinate with field personnel to complete self-performed work.
- Collaborate/coordinate with subcontractor lead personnel.
- Implement project/company requirements for safety, quality control, risk, compliance, etc.
- Administer daily project tracking and reporting.
- Coach and mentor balance of on-site team.
- Be an active participant in elevating yourself and the team around you.
- Willingness to do whatever it takes to deliver a successful outcome.
REQUIREMENTS: - Ability to travel as needed to project locations for duration of project.
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Advanced understanding of construction means, methods and practices.
- Bachelor's degree or working toward a bachelor's degree in construction or engineering or 10 years trade experience.
- Minimum 5 years of related experience with 3 of those years having been in supervisory position.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite of tools.
- Valid DL and good driving record.
