Job Description
Jim Hawk Truck Trailers, Inc., one of the largest semi-truck trailer dealers in the Midwest is looking for an experienced and highly motivated Service manager to join the Sioux Falls, South Dakota team.
The Service Manager position is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations and administrative functions of the Truck Trailer Service/Repair Shop. The Service Manager maintains the highest quality standards of professionalism in serving the customer and identifying and meeting their needs. The Service Manager must have good employee relations and will build a safe, positive, and productive work environment.
The Service Manager works closely with the Service Foreman to ensure all daily functions of the Service team are achieved and an experienced team of mechanics are in place. The Service Manager spends a great deal of their day completing estimates for truck trailer repairs and working directly with customers.
A qualified candidate should be able to provide truck trailer repair estimates, have experience/knowledge of repairing reefers, and experience with growing the customer base to increase revenue. This position reports operational activities/outcomes to leadership.

Experience:
- Supervisory/ Service manager experience in a truck trailer service shop: 2 years required (automotive experience does not apply)
- Truck trailer repair service industry: 3 years required; 5 years preferred (automotive experience does not apply)
