Job Description

Worthington Tractor Parts, Inc. is looking for a warehouse assistant - returned goods who is mechanically inclined with good work history, reliability, positive attitude and great work ethic to join their team of professionals in their Parts Express, new aftermarket parts division in Sioux Falls, SD. The individual must have good oral communication skills, understand and carry out verbal instructions, must be able to pay attention to detail, and understand safety procedures.

This position will include general warehouse duties which include but are not limited to the following:

  • Process Inventory
  • Label/package goods
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment
  • Operate warehouse equipment
  • Shipping/Receiving
  • Sweeping, clean the shop
  • Assist with inventory control and count checks
  • Other duties as assigned

Salary to be determined based on experience and full time benefits available.

Key Competencies:

  • Position involves bending, twisting, pushing, pulling, squatting and lifting on a regular basis throughout the day
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds on a daily basis and carry up to 50 feet
  • Work from heights and climb ladders to lift equipment off/on shelving
  • Must be able to manually lift, squat, carry, push and pull
  • Effective organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail, good organizational skills, and job task prioritizing and planning
  • Ability to comprehend directions in a short period of time
  • Ability to multi-task while remaining efficient and accurate
  • Self-motivation, good work ethic, and ability to work well with others.
  • Mechanically adept.
  • Positive attitude

  • While not required, preference will be given to those with at least a high school diploma or GED
  • Basic knowlege of Excel
  • Preferred warehouse experience
  • Must be at least 18 years of age; must be able to legally work in US
