Job Description:

As a member of our Water Distribution/Wastewater Collection team, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper distribution of water and collection of wastewater throughout the city of Fort Pierre. This includes performing regular maintenance on water distribution/wastewater collection systems, responding to water quality concerns, and working with a team to ensure all residents have access to clean and safe drinking water and are in compliance with wastewater collection regulations.

Key responsibilities include:

• Maintaining and repairing water distribution and wastewater collection systems
• Responding to water quality concerns and conducting water and wastewater tests
• Coordinating with other city departments to address water distribution and wastewater collection/treatment issues
• Operating and maintaining water distribution and wastewater collection/treatment equipment
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards
