Job Description
First Dakota National Bank is hiring a full-time Wealth & Trust Operations Assistant to join our Sioux Falls team. The balancing of all trust accounting records, data input on trust software and banking entries associated with the daily work. Hours include Monday-Friday 8-5. 

Duties
  • Input of daily entries
  • Back up for Operations Manager to add, receive, and free deliver assets
  • Set up tickler files; receipts and disbursements, memos, fees, estimated income and real estate taxes
  • Security trades with mutual fund companies
  • Balance trust accounting work
  • Input, print and mail checks
  • Download confirmations, post stock and bond trades
  • Produce weekly and monthly reports
  • Produce and print adhoc trust accounting reports
  • Month-end procedures
  • Imaging on daily work
  • Open/Close accounts on accounting system
  • Understand administrative functions and assist account administrators
  • Troubleshooting issues in software
  • Assist clients with online access issues
  • Other duties as assigned
Ideal Candidate will have:
  • Working knowledge of stocks, mutual funds and bonds
  • CSOP Designation
  • Experience with Infovisa Trust Accounting software
Qualifications

Communicate effectively with various types of clientele, co-workers and departments to resolve an assortment of needs. Strong organizational skills and the ability to work well in a team environment. Punctuality is a must.

Education/Experience
Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent for two-year college or technical school in Finance/Investments, and-or Accounting
Two years related experience and/or training
Or equivalent combination of education and experience 
 
Work Environment
Office: The work environment of this job includes interacting with others in an office setting, and the noise level is usually moderate. 
 
Physical Demands
Light: The physical demands of this job include bending, sitting, and occasionally lifting up to 10 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
